This will restore the Megaman X6 intro to how it was on its PS1 release. "Moonlight" and "The Answer" are restored to the intro. I've also included the narration from the Japanese release.

A narrationless version is also included.

Before you install this mod, MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP THE ORIGINAL VIDEO FILES!

In this zip file there are three video files:

One with the JP music with translated lyrics, and Japanese narration (X6op_eng_narrationlyrics.wmv)
One with the JP music with translated lyrics, no Japanese narration (X6op_englyrics.wmv
One with just the JP music and narration (X6op_engnolyrics.wmv)

To set up this mod, you need to go to the directory that Megaman X Legacy Collection 2 is installed at.
It is where you have installed your steam library at.

For me, it is D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\steamapps\common\Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2

From there, you will need to

Open the nativeDX10 folder
Open the X6 folder
Open the Movie folder

You'll see three videos. One of the capcom logo,
"X6op_eng_regWor" for the english version of the game,
and "X6op_regWor" for the Japanese version of the game.


What you need to do is rename ONE of the videos in the movie folder of this zip archive as "X6op_eng_regWor.wmv"
and move it over to "Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2\nativeDX10\X6\movie\"

Now overwrite the video file.
