Introduction to Talent Stones
Your character in Terra Randoma can acquire Talent Stones to perform some special moves during combat. Since the game has no class system, every adventurer is free to use any talent stone he or she likes, and create a unique set as the game unfolds.

Each character starts with two talent stones at the beginning of the game, varying with respect to your choice of background. Otherwise, talent stones can only be bought from the adventurer’s guild.

To use a talent stone, you equip it on the action bar. Once you activate it, there is a cool down period. Using a talent stone consumes a certain amount of stamina so you need to be strategic about when to use it.

Some talent stones can be combined, so if you use Stunning Strike, then Whirlwind Attack, you will stun all adjacent enemies. Combining a melee stone with a ranged stone however may result in wasting one. Try different combos to see what works best to your advantage at a given time.

Some give you unique advantages towards certain enemies; for example, if you turn into a Bear, Slimes cannot corrode your weapon and equipment. Some however will be wasted on certain enemies; for example, Golems are fearless so if you use Warcry, their chance of being affected will be very small and impact will be minimum. Fire related stones do not work on the overworld when it rains.

After the update on May 1st, 2021, intelligence attribute governs talent stones with elemental damage and dexterity attribute governs talent stones with bleed and posion damage. So, the more intelligent a hero is, the more elemental damage (fire, ice, lightning) he will inflict with a talent stone. Likewise, a dexterous hero will inflict more bleed or poison damage on enemies. Please note that this latest guide is based on a character with a Retired Gladiator background, so keep in mind for example that the fire damage a Fireball talent stone can inflict is less than it would inflict if a Arcanist was using it.

Investing points in Meditation Skill give you special perks about talents stones. For example, at 5 points, you become Competent and can use a talent stone with 20% less stamina. At 10 points, you become Qualified and the stones cool down 20% faster.

What each talent stone does is written on its card but due to the limited capacity of the shop at the Guild, they rotate. So you don't ever see them all at once in the game, which is why I decided to prepare this guide for the adventurers. Please note that new talent stones are added with almost every update and sometimes their price or stats change for balancing; so I will also be updating my guide every now and then. With the latest update on February 6th, 2022, the total number of stones reached 46.
