The mod we've dreamed about is here - a real game changer!  This brand new mod let's you transfer creations from survival to creative, transfer from creative to survival, and copy creations in survival, and all without cheating (no extra mats).  You can delete creations and get all the mats in a bag.  Plus some extra surprises.

To find the Scrap Mechanic data files: 
In Steam, right click on Scrap Mechanic along the left, Manage, Browse local files

To remove all mods and revert back to vanilla: 
In Steam, right click on Scrap Mechanic along the left, Properties, Local Files, Verify Integrity of game files

To backup your survival world:
1) Go to AppData\Roaming\Axolot Games\Scrap Mechanic\User\User_##\Save\Survival
2) Right click on your world, copy
3) Right click again, paste (you can paste in the same location or a different location)

To enable dev commands: 
1) Go Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Scripts\game, double-click on SurvivalGame.lua (you can open this with Notepad)
2) Edit, Find "god"
3) Above this spot put two dashes before the "if" and below this spot, put two dashes before the "end"
4) File, Save
So then it should look like this:
        --if self.sv.saved.data and self.sv.saved.data.dev then
  g_godMode = true
  g_survivalDev = true
 --end
