- 0.05 -> Updated for No Step Back (1.11.2).
- 0.04 -> Updated compatible version number to 1.10.7.
- 0.03 -> fix for upgrades.

This mod is mostly for personal use, but I might as well share it.

Mod adds multirole aircraft variants to the heavy fighter line. These multirole fighters can perform fighter missions, as well as ground attack and naval/port strike. They will be less efficient in these mission than the dedicated aircraft, but Multirole Aircraft should serve as a good all-rounder for countries with little industrial capacity.

Feedback is most welcome, especially on stats and balancing.

This is my first mod, so please let me know if stuff is/isn't working.

This mod is NOT compatible with Iron Man Mode.

Did heavy fighter jets ever get added?

It affects neither, what it does is creating a variant (like carrier fighters) for the heavy fighter line. I think it is reasonably well balanced, they are generally less capable than specialized lighter aircraft and are more expensive but have greater range and are quite flexible.

Updated for No Step Back. Multirole can now also do logistical interdiction!

Glad to hear it!

@LRembold, I could and it would make sense historically. Though I feel it makes most sense for the twin engine ones to make them a bit more useful ingame.
