This simple mod makes Helborg available at start for Reikland, so you can recruit him from start, replace Karl (by Sigmar) or simply send him to Bretonnia.

can we have a zintler at start too? mine didnt spawn in when i got the perk

Should be noted that this does not appear to be save game compatible (in that it will not enable his recruitment, even after advancing to a fresh turn). It does, however, work just fine when starting a new game.
