Lost souls are found in the corners of the small, square rooms that connect several hallways or rooms with enemies. They will be softly glowing yellow, and Mason (the player character) will make a comment about he "knows just how they felt" or how it has "unfinished business". If you talk to the lost soul and accept its burden, they will thank you and drop some items before disappearing and giving you the "burdened" debuff (which increases all damage you receive until you kill a certain amount of enemies).

The outlaws are mini-bosses that have their own room and music, fight similarly to the player (they hide behind cover, have two different guns, and at least one ability/throwable). You'll always know when you're fighting an outlaw because there will be a short cutscene, a health bar will appear at the top of your screen, the decor of the small connecting room will change (usually where Mason will say he has "a bad feeling"), etc.

I just got 2 questions. 1. were do I find/ help lost souls and 2. which ones are outlaws?

I think they do if I recall correctly. I am on my way to completing the 50 righteous souls and 50 outlaws achievements. So far, Mason's friends were the only ghosts that I kept finding haha.

I'm assuming the Righteous souls of the deputies don't count towards the lost souls count.

It is also worth noting that once you find all three friends [Nate, Tom & Jake] in the final fight with The Preacher you should DESTROY ALL THREE PILLARS FIRST!!!
• Because if you don't you'd probably have to do the run again for "The Banisher" achievement. Happened to me, don't let it happen to you.

To banish the injustice you have to find Mason's friends(they will appears as ghosts). To find them you need to go to a path where in each world it will appear next to the world teleporter a lit up effigy. in each world theres 2 world teleporters so if the world teleporter doesn't have a lit up effigy next to it then your in the wrong way and you need to find the other world teleporter.
