Simple mod changing GFX to 24/7 night mode

also called: "Not burning your eyes out when you look at north Africa on max graphics"

Compatible with majority of mods

(in case mod isn't working tell me what happened in comment or dm)

Some stuff:
*Constant night
*More lights in North America
*Removed sun and moon reflection
*A little darker than vanilla hoi4 night
*Works with DirectX 11, 9 & OpenGL

note: mod doesn't apply night penalties

im making a vampire mod, this would be a great final focus for the vampire supremacy branch, were you able to stop the day night cycle or is this just a visual thing. also can i just copy/edit/psste your mod into mine?

sure there is, if you dont want to use vanilla version which has it working by default. open standardfuncsgfx.fxh in \gfx\FX, scroll down to Phong section and change these back to:

float NdotH = saturate( dot( H, vNormal ) );
float NdotL = saturate( dot( -vLightDirIn, vNormal ) );
// ( values should be set to 0 when u serach for them )
