in today i hade my first game of vic2 and i chose the ottomans (i come from games like aoh2 and hoi4) and i invaded egypt because my army was big enough but later i saw that serbia wanted war so i conquered them, i was happy until i saw "battle of kars lost" and then i realised that russia, the UK, netherlands and france declared war on me (i will have PTSDs playing the ottomans in victoria 2 ever again)

When I first played vic 2 I started as the ottomans because they were fun in eu4 and other games. I opened the campaign by immediately invading europe because my army looked big enough.

Almost every great power declared and I was completely destroyed. In my second game I had multiple economic crashes because I didn't understand they system.

vic 2 is a game that trolls anyone new who treats it like eu4 or ck2/3.
