This guide will provide a little information on how and what should you do in campaign specifically to the "Double Trouble" DLC, including S-rank requirements, rewards, and a bit of information for each mission

What is this?
This is a guide for completing Wargroove missions especially the "Double Trouble". Because there is no specific guide for this, so I decided to create one.
Why do you have to complete this?
To be honest, you don't have to complete it, but you will miss the special rewards in this DLC. The rewards include commanders, jukebox, concept art, and lore.

Introduction Mission
For this section, you will be introduced to everything about Wulfar and the Twins.

Introduction
Stop the enemy barrack - 13 turns

For this mission, Wulfar and the Twins start from the same spot.

This mission only introduces how to play it and introduces new units.
Cherrystone
For this section, you will fight against Caesar, Emeric, and Mercia.

Cherrystone 1
Beat Caesar - 14 turns


For this Mission, Wulfar start from north while the Twins from south.

Wulfar's responsibility
  • capture 2 barracks in the middle.
  • lure Caesar and his right-sided units to get close to him.
the Twins's responsibility
  • pull the switches to rescue the villagers and get extra reinforcements.
  • aiming for the stronghold.
Additional information
  • Caesar and his right-sided units don't move unless you trigger them from the right side of the upper bridge, or the area close to the mountain in the center.
  • The rescued villagers are really useful in helping Wulfar to take down those 2 barracks.
  • If you decide to beat Caesar, you need to lure Caesar far away from his barrack and tower.
  • If you decide to aim his stronghold, you need to lure Caesar and his troops to the lake in the center.

Cherrystone 2
Grab the treasure and escape - 18 turns


For this mission, Wulfar and the Twins start from the spot.

Wulfar's responsibility
  • one of you must focus on the enemy's flying units.
  • you can use either a naval unit or an air unit.
the Twins's responsibility
  • one of you must focus on the enemy's ground units.
  • you can use either a naval unit or an air unit.
Additional information
  • Wulfar and the Twins have the same task, starting point, and escape point.
  • Emeric and his wizards will heal the crystals.
  • You can lure Emeric's wizards by capturing the towns near the bridge.
  • After you beat Emeric, Mercia and Caesar and their reinforcements will arrive from east. After that, another reinforcements will come from north and south gate.
Felheim
In this Section, you will fight against Ragna and Valder

Felheim 1
Grab the treasure and escape - 15 turns


For this mission, Wulfar start from the left side while the Twins from the top side.

Wulfar's responsibility
  • lures Ragna and her Golems to get close to him.
  • move to the bottom-left of the left barrack to escape.
the Twins's responsibility
  • break through to the right gate to grab the treasure.
  • move to the bottom-right (dock) to escape.
Additional information
  • on turn 7, the middle gate will open. Ragna and her troops inside the castle will start moving.
  • if Ragna and her Golems come back too soon or aren't lured far enough, you can slow them down by sending units through the left gate.
  • on turn 12, reinforcement from Valder and his troops will come from the top.


Felheim 2
Escape - 12 turns


For this mission, Wulfar start from the right side while the Twins from the left side.

Wulfar's responsibility
  • Control the air units
  • move to the bottom to escape.
the Twins's responsibility
  • Control the naval units
  • move to the bottom to escape.
Additional information
  • capture the tower quickly, and then slow down the enemy reinforcements by using air units.
  • stop the enemy's west dock. you don't have to capture it.
  • each player can use another player's transporter to pick you up.
  • on turn 9, reinforcement from Valder and his troops (naval + air units) will come from north.
  • try to capture town as many as possible. Because it would slow down Valder and his reinforcements.
Floran
For this section, you will fight against Greenfinger and Nuru.

Floran 1
Stop the enemy barrack - 11 turns

For this mission, Wulfar start from right side while the Twins from bottom side.
This mission has special condition (Fog of war).

Wulfar
  • Wulfar and the Twins have the same task but different starting points.
  • stop enemy barrack.
the Twins
  • Wulfar and the Twins have the same task but different starting points.
  • stop enemy barrack.
Additional information
  • you will be outnumbered by your enemies, so use the dog's vision to help you.
  • for Wulfar, you should tee off expensive enemies into the sea or lined enemies.
  • for the Twins, you could lure the enemy out and then use healing skills to hold them off.
  • there is 1 reinforcement for each Wulfar and the Twins.


Floran 2
Grab the treasure and escape - 12 turns

For this mission, Wulfar start from left side while the Twins from right side

Wulfar's responsibility
  • focus on the fight and pave the way.
  • move to the shore below to escape.
the Twins's responsibility
  • focus on grab the treasure.
  • move to the shore below to escape.
Additional information
  • the turn limit to get rank S for this mission is no joke.
  • to clear the vines, Wulfar and the Twins have to destroy the strongholds.
  • you have to grab the treasure as quickly as possible because your enemy is very easy to block your escape path.
  • this mission continues even if you beat Greenfinger and Nuru.
  • this mission has endless reinforcement. So it is useless trying to beat every enemy in this mission.
Heavensong
For this section, you will fight against Ryota, Tenri, and Koji.

Heavensong 1
Beat Ryota - 15 turns


For this mission, Wulfar start from south while the Twins from north

Wulfar's responsibility
  • lures enemies to him using his friend's help.
  • protect and open a path for the thief.
the Twins's responsibility
  • capture the tower and dock.
  • slow down the enemy reinforcements by using air and naval units.
Additional information
  • the enemy does not use a large amount of gold on first and second layers of the wall, but he will use it on third layer.
  • to beat golem on top side, try to use the town to lure it.
  • on first layer, dont break the top wall too early. It will make the first layer harder.
  • on second layer, try to beat the trebuchet first, or u can charge the second barrack from the top wall from first layer.
  • on third layer, be careful with Ryota's groove. Because there are so many buildings and units very close to each other.
  • the Twins can help by preparing anti-air unit using naval or air unit.

Heavensong 2
Grab the treasure and escape - 11 turns

For this mission, Wulfar start from left side while the Twins from right side.
And in this mission, Wulfar and the Twins are separated by a long wall.

Wulfar's responsiblity
  • dances with tenri and her units (seriously).
  • move to the shore below to escape.
the Twins's responsibility
  • solve the puzzles with their units.
  • move to the shore on the right to escape.
Additional information
  • the turn limit to get rank S for this mission is no joke.
  • the Twins have to do their job quickly.
  • Wulfar has to dance with Tenri before they escape. Try to exploit the small island in the center, because it has narrow space.
  • After the Twins grab the treasure, huge reinforcement will arrive from north. So make sure Wulfar and the Twins aren't blocked from enemy units.

This sections below will provide spoilers about the missions.

Heavensong 2 puzzles
1st puzzle:
  • pull all the switches except the second one from the left.
2nd puzzle:
  • only the Twins can press the button.
  • use wizard to hit cavalry from top.
  • use left pikeman to hit soldier from left.
  • use soldier to beat enemy soldier from right.
  • use right pikeman to beat cavalry from bottom.
3rd puzzle:
  • press the buttons in this order: down, left, up, right.
  • that's because the stories mention this direction sequentially.
Against Koji:
  • only the Twins can grab the treasure.
  • use the Twins unit to pull the switch, and pull Koji away from east so he doesn't block your way out.
Final Mission
For this section, you will fight against Vesper.

Final Mission
Beat Vesper - 13 turns

For this mission, Wulfar start from right side while the Twins from left side
This mission has special condition, you will control every single commander
  • from Cherrystone (Mercia, Emeric, Caesar),
  • from Felheim (Ragna, Valder),
  • from Heavensong (Ryota, Tenri, Koji),
  • from Floran (Greenfinger, Nuru).

Wulfar's responsibility
  • Wulfar and the Twins have the same task but different starting points.
  • beat Vesper while each commander must survive.
the Twins's responsibility
  • Wulfar and the Twins have the same task but different starting points.
  • beat Vesper while each commander must survive.
Additional information
  • you can't lose a single commander
  • Vesper has a different groove from the original, which is able to create a mirror images.
  • Vesper's mirror images has 1 hp. So kill it quickly before they have a chance to attack.
  • There are so many commanders in this mission, so you should use "groove" combination to give you an advantage.

Final Mission - Great Groove Combination
Right side:
  • Ragna and Koji to deal huge area of damage.
  • Wulfar and Koji to deal huge area of damage.
  • Greenfinger and Mercia to create strong walls.
  • Greenfinger and Nuru to create a barricade of units.
Left side:
  • Valder and Ryota to deal damage to separate enemy units.
  • Valder and Caesar to push through enemy barricades.
  • Emeric and the Twins (Errol) to create a strong area of defense.
  • the Twins (Orla) and Tenri to eliminate a long range strong unit instantly such as Ballista and Trebuchet.
Other combination:
  • Tenri and Wulfar to eliminate a short range strong unit instantly such as Cavalry and Golem.
  • Greenfinger and the Twins (Orla) to eliminate a strong unit instantly, even Vesper.
  • Greenfinger and Ryota to slay several separate units.
  • Mercia and the Twins (Errol) to give an insane amount area of healing.
Rewards
after completing certain missions, you will get several commanders.
you can play the arcade to get their music and lore.
  • Wulfar : after completing the introduction mission.
  • Errol and Orla a.k.a the Twins : after completing the Felheim, Cherrystone, Floran, and Heavensong missions.
  • Vesper : after completing the final mission.
