This guide is a tutorial on how to carry out a glitch near the end of the game that allows you to get to the top of the sequin land palace without the need for the long section before it. This trick is amazing for speed running.

The title might sound scary, but do not worry; this glitch cannot mess up your game in any way. I have performed this several times and can confirm that it is not harmful. However, I would strongly recommend that you save your game beforehand, as you can (and most likely will) get stuck at the top of the scuttle palace, with no way of getting down.

But if you do not want to watch the video, here is the text version of the steps:

1: Near the end of the game, enter the scuttle palace and run to the right until you reach the door. Go through the door in order to get to the center of the palace.

2: Using Risky's boots, dash in the direction of the door you just came from.

3: When you are in the middle of the door ( right before you head through it to the next room) during your dash, go into your item menu. Remember, timing is everything.

4: Use any item except a pike ball, super pike ball, monster milk, super monster milk, bubble, or pirate flare.

5: If you have done it correctly, you should be stuck in the middle of the door; which means if you move a little you will go through it. When you are stuck in the middle, jump and then you will be flying.

6: To stop flying, go through any of the doors you see while you are flying upwards.

7: If you are not successful at first, don't worry! This is not a very simple thing to do. It will probably take a couple tries before you perfect it.

8: It is possible to get stuck at the top while you are flying. In case of that, just go to the main menu and open the save again.
