Omschrijving
"CTF_2fort_Breakable, except it's modified for Gmod".

Also remember to check out deckenid's Gmod version as well.


This maps changes:

-All breakable chunks now take physics damage.
-Reduced breakables minimum required damage to 10.
-Remade the bomb flags into physical entities.
-Bomb explosions remove prop constraints.
-modified all brushes with physgun/toolgun whitelists.
-Packed navigation file.
-Added NPC nodes.

Make sure you have Team Fortress 2 Mounted in the main menu before starting the map.
(You can mount games by clicking on the square gamepad button at the bottom right of the main menu).

I Recommend downloading The TF2 Mounting Bug Fix to fix the maps textures and bomb effects.

You can find the map under the "Team Fortress 2" tab when selecting "Start New Game".

Just incase the inbuilt navigation isn't working for some reason Click HERE[drive.google.com] for the manual download.

The .nav file goes here. "steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\maps"

Due to the nature of this map being destructible, bots can and will most likely get stuck due to
not knowing how to deal with hard to access areas caused by a complete loss of infrastructure.

However that is a sacrifice, I am willing to make.

FAQ:

Q1: My tool gun doesn't always work when aiming at breakables?

A1: All breakables have toolgun whitelists, this was to prevent certain game crashes relating to certain tools, I have however tried to allow all functional base game tools. (it would be nice if there was a gmod_disallowtools aswell as the gmod_allowtools keyvalue. "or perhaps there is and I'm just brainlet").


Q2: Do you plan on making anymore of these maps?

A2: I've discussed with deckenid and have decided that I won't be working on making anymore breakable valve maps. Mostly because I don't feel right about continuing to work on something that is way too similar to his maps.

(But also because this is a great excuse for me to get out of making more of these, as hammer hates me and I feel as though I've lost enough of my frontal lobe on one map already)

I might however start work on an example .vmf for any other mappers that would like to use this breakable chunk system for their own maps (also don't worry I'll put the bombs in too). As this maps .vmf ain't exactly too user friendly since it was rushed for me mate on Christmas, then rushed again for new years.
