Yes, every Complex has its own built-in AA gun. The AA gun which is a map unit has nothing to do with Bombing Raids. Check out the rules: https://media.wizards.com/2015/rules/AA_1942_rules.pdf

Even if one doesn't show up on the map in the same territory as the complex? Like a 'phantom' AA gun attached to every complex?

If that's NOT the case, I'd like to be able to bomb Russia's IC from Karelia without being forced to fly through West Russia. Is there a way to specify a bombers route that I've overlooked? Thanks for the quick reply, Julius.

Why is my bomber taking a path over an AA gun when it doesn't have to?
