Introduction
This is pack of AI Upscaled textures for XIII Classic. As of version 1.1 all textures should work properly. I've tested the game in a new playthrough but if You find any bugs feel free to contact me.

Unpack "textures" and "system" into Your XIII Classic main folder. For steam by default it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XIII - Classic

The mod simply replaces the textures so I don't think it's the cause. I had no problems with the game but I played it on ryzen 7 2700 and rx5600xt. I made the mod for the game with all of the patches - mouse fix etc. so file locations may also differ if Your version was unpatched. Otherwise I have no more ideas on what could cause that issue.

Nice mod! Though I am having an issue where the game will freeze whenever a new room is loaded. I don't know if it is the mod or my hardware that's causing it.

InsideXIII group have put more work into their project to make it as good as possible. I've just scaled all the textures with same settings with level 3 denoising so they look smoother but they lost more of original details. InsideXIII group were testing 4 different upscaling settings and used what they think will look the best for the game so my project is finished. You just have to wait until they release the final version so my project is closed. Thanks for the feedback and for playing it.

I think they just used different settings of the upscaling if they're upscaling it with AI. As for the videos, yeah I upscaled one cinematic to fullhd and then used another software to make it 50fps but the game crashed. I'm still waiting for Locke's response for now so I'll probably make final decision after that.

I still prefer your project because in your project there are more high res textures making it more consistent, and that's why you shouldn't quit, but cooperate with them. There are more low res textures in 1.4.3 beta and you can help them add the higher ones from your project. Also, some of the guys who are working on 1.4.3 are working on increasing the resolutions of pre rendered cutscenes and I don't know if you can do videos but adding in your high res textures in them would be amazing. But at the end of the day the decision is of course in your hands and I appreciate your great work in the project.

I didn't forget about that, I planned to fix that with the package of all comic effects for explosions etc. Since InsideXIII are making their version I think my project is done. I think their version will be better since I saw them remaking some models as well. I contacted them and as long as I can help them with anything I'll try to but as for my project I think I'm done.

I don't know if you forgot about it, but when you finish levels or fail them, the icon on the left side of the wide bar became way bigger with the 1.2 and it looks ugly. Other than that, Bank's emergency exit text looks nice and crisp, but I couldn't figure out what you meant by "pass panels". Also, Locke aka Arthur from InsideXIII is making unofficial patch for XIII, named "patch 1.4.3", it's on beta now, he's still working on it and he works with some other guys on the patch and they helped him make the ingame textures in high resolution, quite the coincidence, so I asked him whether or not you was involved with making the textures high res in his 1.4.3 patch, but he answered as no and he wasn't even aware of your project. Maybe you can contact him and you guys can work on fixing the alarm and other weird redness on some of the walls in the game?

Uploaded version 1.2.2 + optional fix for that blank alarm on spads level. If You wanna try it with that fix it's in optional files on nexusmods and moddb, and here are two links to gdrive and mega. I didn't have a lot of motivation for the project so I had to take a break. The alarm fix is optional because it's not what I'd like to release but I couldn't get it working. You can tell where 3 different elements connect because they all use textures on their own so. There's clearer explenation in txt file inside. I'll try to release the last fix as soon as possible.

Finished the game with 1.2 version and it's fantastic now, but it still has small issues, some of them might be one of those textures that can't be at a higher res because of creating other issues type of textures though.
