Tip literally no-one knows:
You can place a storage chest on top a splitter and it will automatically put it on the splitter output at maximum throughput which is wild.

Speaking of things that are not blindingly obvius. Shift click when deleting to delete the entire conveyor line instead of just 1 unit at a time.

Worth it just for the Life of Brian reference.

what is not blindingly obvious also is that a splitter can work as an overflow valve. If you set the outgoing belt with a filter but do not specify the what to filter.. everything will go onto that belt until its full then it will be split to other outgoing belts.
