iam know the feeling. iam also in trouble with many looseing streaks 2017 i was 3,6 k now iam 1,6 k . and still dropping .iam in team with people they are actually learning the game, vs super hardcore freaks playing dota at a highskill level. like they are trying to win ti9 . dota balance is so broken :..(

A break can also mean that when you come back, you're very rusty.
And 2020 had a lot of players coming back thanks to Covid/lockdowns, disrupting the balance of matchmaking.
I got into so many losing streaks in 2020 I decided to take a break myself :steammocking:

a break means u dont play so u cant lose mmr , but why suddenly so low mmr o0 ?

Lols, they bumped up Ancient MMR threshold to around 4k.
Plus I took a bit of a break from ranked matchmaking in 2020.
