Why does it require Hearthfire? It really shouldn't, is it not just a piece of code?

Um yea, everyone still has like 100 gold on them or less

Got in here to say exactly what Pulse said above me: Tonila from the Thieves Guild has 40000 of money and trading with her doesn't give any money.

In case you didn't know, there's an game engine restriction on how much a merchant can have which is 32767, half of 65535 (FFFF in hexadecimal).

If ANY merchant goes above 32767, their money freezes and they will not give gold for trades.

PS: Trying to remove Tonila's gold via console doesn't seem to work too.

When the fences in the Thieves' Guild get to 4k (40k with this mod) their gold doesn't decrease and you don't gain anything. Had to remove the mod because of that.

One problem I've had. Almost everyone will trade with you and it can cause the game to crash.

As someone who regularly walks out of a dungeon with 20+k worth of gems and items, this is a godsend. Even with all the perks in the speech tree, it takes way to long to pawn off all my treasure in vanilla.

Also... it is not cheating, cheating is if you were to get money for FREE, here you do not get money for free, you need to give something worth that money to receive them...

Sounds like a good idea, but just breaks the game (for a very small magnitude of "break"). You want to get rich? Perk speech. You don't want to spend your perks there? I guess you're going to have to work a little harder to get rich. Or spend less time vaccuuming up all the loot, and just take a few choice pieces.

If you install this mod, most of the Speech perk tree becomes unnecessary, and that twists the kinds of builds that are viable. Without the mod perk placement is that much more interesting a decision.

Needing hearthfire for something like this, that worked just fine on vanilla, is absolutely pointless. You made the mod completely useless to half the people who play Skyrim, because no one wants to waste their money to buy a piece of dlc just to be able to use this mod. Good job, you ruined a lot of your user base by updating it to be useless.

Works well up to a point. Like most merchant boosts, they gradually gain funds over time. Once they hit 40000 gold, you can't use them. The 40K is like a new zero point. You can sell to them all you want, but your gold never increases and theirs never decreases -- which means anything you think you are selling you are GIVING away for FREE. I've had a few rarely used fences that reached this all to quick and became useless.
