Feb 28th, 2021 - A new method was found, that doesn't require any unique programs, but a file archiver, (like WinRAR or 7-Zip) which is pretty much available on most computers due to archive files being very common nowadays.
What is "slowmode"?
"Slowmode", or in an other name, "slow motion" means constant lagging in the game, which makes the game runs on ~3/4 of the speed it's supposed to be played on, or less. This makes the in-game time measurements inaccurate, slows down your movement, and makes reflex-based duels much easier, and I suppose you don't like the game's challenging moments to be taken away from you.

The GIF below demonstrates what speed the game is meant to play on (left side), and what speed it plays on when "slowmode" takes in place (right side). The character's movement speed is one of the quickest ways to see if the game is slowed down or not. The other one is looking at your average FPS, and if it's under ~24 FPS, it obviously means the game is lagging. The out-of-sync between the musicians' sprites and the music in the healing rooms can also give it away, however you already have some progress once you find one of those.
Methods (overview)
There is one other method that I found recently, and all you need for it is an archiver like WinRAR or 7-Zip. These types of software are commonly used due to the popularity of archived files nowadays, and so you most likely already have one on your computer, so it shouldn't be a problem. However, due to it being recently found, (as far as I know) there's a small chance that it won't work on all systems, so if this method doesn't work for you, you can try the other two.

The two other methods involve limiting framerates with an external software. If your graphics card manufacturer is NVidia, you have an easier job setting up the frame limit. If your manufacturer is another brand however, you have to download a piece of software called "RivaTuner".

If you're unsure about your graphics card manufacturer, just open up DirectX diagnostics (press Win+R, then type in "dxdiag"). Once it loaded up, go to the Display tab, then find the Manufacturer section (it's usually the second line).
(excuse the hungarian language, my OS is unfortunately not english)

A quick shoutout to a fellow player named SylveonLover! If it wasn't for them, I probably wouldn't have figured the problem out for myself (as it looks like there's not much discussions about this, either because it goes unnoticed or because it's a rare occurence. This guide uses their solution, however this will be more in-depth in order to make other people solve this issue with ease.
Method 1
The first thing you need to do is going to your Steam Library, then on the left menu, search for Creepy Castle. Right-click on it, hover to 'Manage', then press 'Browse Local Files'. It doesn't pop up on the screen though, so you have to change to that window manually.

You should see an exe file in the folder. (don't mind the first two folders being there) Right-click on it, then open it with whatever archiving software you have. I have 7-Zip, but I'm sure you can use WinRAR for it as well. As again, excuse me for the foreign language.

Once you've opened it, you need to extract its content to your folder.

When you go back to the folder, and see its content extracted, rename to anything but 450440, or backup the original exe. You'll see another exe, CREEPY_CASTLE_2, you have to rename that to 450440. Next, you need to open the options.ini file and modify it.

In the file, you have to find the 'AlternateSyncMethod=0' line. Change the 0 to 1, save the file, and you're good to go.

But like I said in the beginning, I'm unsure that it works on every system, so if this method fails, no need to worry, because there are two more which will definitely work. Other than that, there's nothing else to worry about.
Method 2/A
This method doesn't involve downloading any programs on your computer. However, this method is tied to a specific graphics card manufacturer (NVidia). If you have an NVidia graphics card, you have nothing much to do other than following these steps:

Go to your desktop, right click on an area which isn't occupied by an icon, and select "NVidia Control Panel"

Once the control panel has been loaded, there's a section on the left side called "Manage 3D settings". Go there.

Next, click on the Program Settings tab, then select Creepy_Castle_2.exe on the dropdown menu. It should show up there once you've opened the game.

After that, search for a setting called "Max Frame Rate". Open that up, enable it, set it to 60 FPS, then click OK.

Once you got these, all you have to do is click on "Apply" that is located on the down-right side of the window.
Method 2/B
This method involves downloading a software called "RivaTuner". You can download the latest version from here[www.guru3d.com], and once you've downloaded it, you have to install it.

Once you've done with the installation, and you've opened up the program, you should see an icon laying around the right side of your taskbar. Right-click on that, and click on "Show".

When the interface has been popped up, press the "Add" button on the lower-left corner.

Next, it should ask you for a file. At the filename section, paste in
replace [YOUR_USERNAME] with the name of your user you're currently on, and then click "Open".

After that, you'll see 2 number inputs after "Framerate limit" and "Scanline sync". Type in 30 in both of these (don't forget to press Enter if you've typed it in, unless it won't change).

And that's it! When you launch the game, it should be running on 30 FPS now. Keep in mind that you have to run the program in the background whenever you're playing with the game.
Final Notes
That's it for this guide. If you have complications, or these solutions are not working, or if I made a mistake, let me know in the comments, and I'll correct those errors in my guide ASAP.

Thanks for reading!

I know, right? I haven't figured this out until I completed Chapter 1. I've suspected there was something going on with my game, when I was watching a gameplay whose game was faster than mine was, but only a week or so after I've found out that it's the faulty frame limit that does this. SylveonLover was the first one who found this out, so my thanks goes out to them once again.
