Yup. You always try to get everything, like any gamer should... and suddenly, you have to dodge everything, even if it's not hostile. I know that pain. But... let's make it a little easier. For the sanity of us all.

Of course, this method still requires some serious skills to pull off. It won't be easy either way. But it's the least punishing way, IMO.

Metal Shield! Not the best item in the game, but in this run... There's nothing better.

It will crush everything on your way. Yes, gold too.

How does that sound, huh? Well, it won't save you in every situation, but it makes the way WAAAAAAAAAY easier than any other thing.

Just remember: you can still land on the gold, something can drop on your head, too. I mean, enemies AND gold. But being safe from one side is better than nothing, right? It's great.

Well... No other way, seems like you have to land on the gold. The worst scenario. Especially in the second layer of 1-4, seems possible to happen there more often. What can you do?... Throw a bomb and hide, then pray that the way is clear and nothing went straight to you cause of the explosion.

Basically: sprint through 1-1, check out the shop in 1-2 (or 1-3 if it's not there). If you see that beautiful Metal Shield, steal it. If not, I suggest to restart the run.

And remember: squashing shopkeepers is fun, I'll tell you that, but you shouldn't. If you do it, there will be more of them later. And they drop gold when they die. And it may jump upwards when you kil them and drop on your head. You don't want to feel that rage.

Try not to kill any of them, so they forgive you in 1-4, maybe 2-1.

Quillback - let him roll right, you want to go Volcana. Go towards him (just land safely from the ladder, to not collect any gold piece [Quill may throw some while destroying the wall] - when you go right with the shield, it won't stop you anymore, all you need is to stick that simple landing), let him roll back, dodge (jump back on the ladder), then go safely to the right. Then it should be simple.

Remember: you can kill the flying gold scarabs.

...just run. It's easy to avoid gold there, watch out for the usual enemies/traps there. Probably the easiest area in terms of this achievement.

You should still have 4 bombs. Maybe more if Volcana was nice to you (and you didn't crash the crates with your shield).

Let him get closer to you, best to let him jump 2 times to the left. During the second jump, go right.

You should be near the little hole that he makes in the beginning, and he should be far.

Just drop your 4 bombs, one at a time, to make a path. With the first row crashed by Olmec, 4 are enough. There shouldn't be too much gold, watch out especially for the first boom, but usually nothing will reach you up there. You should get some small "steps" down, gold may lay there, but even in the worst scenario you can use 2 ropes to go down safely.

Go to the Tide Pool.

Some gold may lay hidden behind the background art. But we have shield! Don't jump if you don't need to and you should be safe.

You can crash a lot of enemies, but watch out, especially for the big crabs called Pangxie. They drop gems. You don't want to accidentally get one, so just let them live.

Pray that any random explosion won't send cash right into you. Watch out for the UFOs.

You shouldn't try to beat the second layer. Just do this:

Neo Babylon... Watch out for the explosions. A lot of them. And UFOs. Shield will still help you a lot, but you need to show some skills, anyway.

Lamasu drop gems when they die, remember that.

6-1, 6-2: good luck.

6-3: The most important one. Find the entrance to the Palace of Pleasure. Crush the guard with your shield.
And now, the fun part: Enter/leave the second layer, let the guards shoot themselves. You have some invisibility frames while changing the layer, so use that. Make sure a lot are dead, then enter the Palace and maybe you will need to kill one more, but it's simple: they shoot, thanks to the shield the bullets bounce back to them, profits. Then pick up a shotgun. Make your way to the exit, and remember: shield won't help you anymore, don't collect gold now!
You may see some gold in the Palace, though, so watch out. Maybe even on the entrance. If you push the leave button fast enough, you won't collect any. But what if you can't enter cause of that? Go down, there's still one more alive guard somewhere. Don't crush him, approach him, let him shoot your shield, voila. Or maybe he'll be dead, anyway. Just hope he's not in the lava with his weapon. But you'll get your shotgun from the palace most of the time. You need to be extremely unlucky to not have any chance for a gun on 6-3 without collecting gold.

6-4... Kill Tiamat with shotgun. Use water under it, so you won't accidentally collect any gold while going to the exit.

Will it be easy? Nope. Is there any better way? I don't think so. I did it. You can do it, too. Just try. A few times. A thousand times. Have a break if it takes too long. You will get it, sooner or later.
