1.0 Introduction
This guide features videos of each character's special attack and a description of what they actually do. Furthermore there will be a tactic provided for each one telling you how you can dodge this shot.

1.1 Common tips for your attack pattern

The easiest way overall to control the puck and thereby the match is to just keep it in one half of the field and only spam straight attacks (or attacks with low angles). The closer you stick to the side, the easier it gets to control the puck, do straight attacks and not get hit yourself, and also the easier it gets to counter special attacks as all of them are based on which half of the field the enemy starts the attack. So attack all over the field, using both halfs, crossing the middle line over and over, may result in triggering special attacks that are very hard to predict as they are too close to the center line.

2.0 The special attacks
2.1 Furry

Description: Puck follows a zig-zag-pattern, aiming for the opposing side of the field.

How to dodge: Even though the puck is following a zig-zag-pattern, it is more or less a straight line with just tiny movement towards each side. Simply follow the puck with your racket and you will be fine as the attack is neither fast, nor dangerous.

2.2 Harobed

Description: Puck makes a slight bend.

How to dodge: Also very predictable. Simply follow the puck with your racket.

2.3 M4RV1N

Description: Puck goes straight to field's center, changes to the opposing half and aims straight down towards you.

How to dodge: Very easy to see which half the attack starts of as it slowly goes towards the center first. Just move to the opposing half then.

2.4 1S1D0R

Description: Puck moves just a little and stops for a short time. When it starts again it speeds up and aims for the opposing half from where it stopped before.

How to dodge: Don't get confused by the angle it starts with. Quickly check where it stopped and then move to the opposing half of the field, no matter what direction the puck had before.

2.5 Skargoth

Description: Puck is aiming for the closest side, hitting it, but bouncing of with a smaller angle than expected.

How to dodge: Puck is always bouncing off the side very weakly, so just stick to the side it hits first.

2.6 Ayato

Description: Puck hits the side that is further away right in the middle. Then hits the opposing side centured, opposing side again and once more (so 4 hits altogether).

How to dodge: Puck always bounces 4 times in the center before entering your side, so it will always enter your side on the opposing half where it first hits.

2.6 Vardkor

Description: Puck pretends to aim for your opposing half. Then the puck is aiming for your opposing half again (so the half it originally came from) with a crook.

How to dodge: Don't get confused, don't follow the puck. Just stay on the half where the special attack started.

2.7 Phan-Le

Description: Puck is sped up and aims straight down.

How to dodge: Hard to dodge if attacking with wide angles or uncontrolled attacks. Try to just use straight attacks (gets easier the closer you get towards one or the other side) with enough speed. That way his casual and special attacks will all be straight, making you eventually hit after some time.

2.8 W4SP

Description: Puck moves in a circle once and aims for the opposing half from where it started.

How to dodge: Just move to the opposing half from where the attack started.

2.9 Ekbar

Description: Puck aims straight towards your side, but teleports back and slightly towards the opposing side from where it started before you can reach it. After teleporting it aims straight for your side again.

How to dodge: Don't get confused. Don't try to reach the puck the first time it comes close as you won't be able to reach it and will waste too much time to be able to counter after that. If the attack started in the right half, the puck will slightly teleport left but always cross the middle line and the other way round.
The closer the attack starts to one or the other side, the further it will teleport and the further away it starts, the closer it will teleport, meaning:
  • If the attack starts at the very right side, it will teleport into the left halt but very closely to the middle.
  • If the attack starts at the right half but closely to the middle, it will teleport into the left half but very closely to the left side.

Try to only attack on one side. It might become difficult to see if the puck is in the right or left half when you are attack in the center.

2.10 Bupbup

Description: Puck moves in multiple circles and aims for the opposing half from where it started.

How to dodge: Move towards the opposing half from where the attack started. Unlike W4SP this attack is very fast and the angle the puck exits the last loop is often different, so you need to get as close to the exit of that loop with your racket as possible.

There are 2 vertical lines on each half of the field. Center your racket between those and move as high as possible to shorten the distance.

2.11 Miyu

Description: Puck hits the side closest to where it started, speeds up and makes a bend towards the other half of your field

How to dodge: Quickly move towards the opposing half from where it started. Attack will always hit very closey to a side, so you can actually just slam your racket to that side.

Great guide :).

For W4SP and Bupbup, they have the same kind of attack: if the attack goes clockwise at the center of the table then go right side, if the attack goes counter clockwise then go left side of the table. I think it's easier to check the rotation than to remind where the attack started as their puck can move fast before you notice the attack. And, as you said, you need to go up to be just at the exit of the loop for Bupbup because if you stay low you might be suprised by the angle of the puck when if goes out of the loop.
