To be sincere and honest with the best advice to give to someone starting of is get comfortable you wont get gud from night to day, its a process hard and arduous process that will be painful there's no get good guide out there that will make you better in 3 seconds after watching apart from that its pure reflex speed and patterns (also rhythm) its not easy at all playing this game and getting better i'll list some tips that might help in the process but to clarify they are not a guide or strats their mostly to make you have a better experience overall which is what most likely everyone will tell u on their how to get good guides:

1. rest (feel stuck like you cant improve well rest on it it will help you for when you come back to play some more you will feel lighter at least on my experience it helped me feel less stuck in place and in constant moving since rest will unstrain those eyes and fingers of your's)

2.If you feel stuck don't feel like its the end of the world its not its also unnecessary stress on your back (Doing so might make you loose much of your interest in the game just sit it off play some other game give it a rest just like the first lil tip said)

3.Try not to play 24/7 (it will hurt your overall improvement)

4. Don't focus on just improving have fun be happy don't think about it to much you will get better with time for sure just have fun sometimes your to focused in just ranking that you forget whats mostly important, having fun (but if having fun means ranking im not who to stop you)

5. Maybe watching other people play and seeing their play style might help whilst watching but don't quote me on that one develop your own play style don't try to mimic them they have their own ways to play their comfortable with you should make one ur comfortable with

6. Enjoy the game its a great game with lots of potential since its still in early staged of development (early access i mean don't judge me XDDDDDDD this game is a lil bit timed as in ppl have been playing for some time it isn't so so new)

7.No for real i cant stress this enough train and play and have fun doing so will make you improve in the long run (REST FOR REAL REST)

Also get a good skin the one you feel more confortable with it will help you a lot in the long run iv'e changed so much from skin to skin that it would be hard to tell you wich one is the best since its mostly personal opinion and preference.

Sorry for format or if this isn't supposed to go here but I felt like ppl should know Good luck in your journey.

If only so many great songs weren't stuck behind extremely hard difficulties and had easier versions to let more casual players enjoy them. So many exclusive to 20+/30+/40+ I have to rely on unranked stuff for anything new, I can improve but I feel like I hit a physical limit with my reaction speed.

Another addition to this list that works for me, is to lower the in game volume and use your taps as hitsounds. As long as you understand the beats and patterns, it can greatly increase your acc :)

Playing 24/7 can definitely hurt your overall improvement. Playing rhythm games and trying to get better at them is sort like working out, where if you go for too long then you eventually get more tired and stop getting better, and can even hurt yourself (you can get a repetitive stress injury if you play too much, but that would be like playing for 6+ hrs a day every day)
