For those wondering about the B button on a controller, the option is called "Cancel" which is defaulted to Backspace on the keyboard in the last options menu. Also, if this was the default from DS3, WOW I don't like them at all. Just really sucks you can't use mouse button 4 or 5 in DS2.

make sure to disable doubleclicking it set to ON to remove the weird delay between click and action when trying to attack

I prefer Dark Souls with keyboard, more precise controls for me. I don't play nearly any game with controller except for Devil May Cry and lego star wars basically. Unless I'm really lazy and want to play in bed lmfao
