What bug?
in the current version of the game a bug exists that will overwrite your existing magnus with a newly tamed magnus; this guide tries to explain why it happens and what you can do to avoid it happening to you
Details
When you tame a new magnus it automatically gets deposited into your barn; starting at coastal room 1 it will check for a free space

the problem occurs when moving magnus around; because the game gets confused and sort of ghosts the magnus between the two spots

example:

you have draconewt in coastal room 1 slot 1 (cr1s1) like so:

you move draconewt to a new slot in a different room (for this example lets say coastal room 2 slot 1)

you go and tame a new magnus (in this case a moota) and:

moota (or your new tame) is in cr1s2... this is because the game erroneously still believes your draconewt is in cr1s1
So how does this overwrite my magnus?
continuing the previous example:

- you tame 3 more magnus; they occupy cr1s3-5 (filling room 1)

- you tame 1 more magnus; since the game still erroneously believes your previously moved draconewt is still in cr1s1; it doesnt think anything is in cr2s1 (despite that being where you moved your draconewt to); this new tame then occupies that slot; overwriting your draconewt
So what can i do to prevent this?
simply save, quit and reload every time you move magnus around; reloading seems to force the game to recognise the new location of a magnus (deleting its 'ghost' if you will)

keep coastal room 1 free (note that if you're moving stuff out of it you will have to save quit and reload to get rid of their 'ghosts' inhabiting their old location); if the room is free then the game wont have to skip over any existing magnus (potentially deleting them) when you get a new tame

not necessary if you're following the above steps; but good practice to keep your save backed up (*boot drive*:\Users\*user*\AppData\LocalLow\Magnus Games Studio\ReLegend\76561198047605454)

sounds like you could avoid it by simply not moving them around in the first place
