I was brain, it actually auto save after the quest (MQ17) so i couldn't go back before i spoke to him. I don't really mind but if you do, be careful
Might be worth mentioning that entering into or exiting out of the west Soulflayer Canyon can lead you to The Ruins of Heavenspeak Fort, don't kill anyone here as it may lock you out of the Thick as Theives side quest until NG+.
Also make sure Fournival is proven innocent on whichever run you decide to farm to level 200! Getting Conqueror's Periapts without him is a hassle lol
After maxing the Fighter vocation, I suggest maxing out Warrior too. Despite its early game difficulty on hard mode, it offers two great augments: Clout, boosting Ranger damage when stacked with Fighter's Vehemence, and Impact, increasing knockdown chance. Bitterback Isle becomes quite easy with bow knockdowns. Daimon's second phase is super easy with 4-5 Conqueror's Periapts, 1 Liquid Vim, and 150-200 Blast Arrows. A Ranger can stunlock him, making the battle last 10-20 seconds. Hauling 200 Blast Arrows and other remedies to the Sanctum is the challenge, but the first phase is manageable with regular attacks.
