a spy in this game uses his maskeraith to sneak closer to unsuspecting enemies then lash out with a fast attack it is usefull for menders and silkwings and other enemies that buff your attackers

general battle tips
after the tips i gave you on classes im gonna help you how to use your class effectively against specific monsters
so keep reading if you had dificulties with lumbers and grimalkins
Lumbers
just like juggernauts lumbers are slow but strong leaving them a prime target for shutters and spies

as for a spy you might want to cloak and sneak behind them whent that happens use your blade for high damage and a status effect (if applicabble)

for swordmen i recommend the same thing as for spies except for the cloaking part just use your agility (because they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow anyway)

shutters just do what you're good at and try to damage the bastard before he O he's cronies reach you

demo's wait until a few enemies are crazy enough to stand near the lumber to maximize damage

juggernaut this one is pretty much your most worthy enemy he's your match outrunning isnt much of an option (STILL TRY THOUGH!!!!) but try confronting him with some brutal power ey?
Grimalkin
a giant spookat but unlike his little cousins he's not that agile use this to your advantage by (this is risky and might fail but its definetly worth a try) run circles around him and get as close as you can to his mouth he will try to bite but if you're doing it right he will miss you then he needs time to respawn use that time to make some progress and outrun him

for juggernauts though agility isnt realy your thing so you should be able to avoid these levels of this is not a possibility change your loadout (sure thats easy for me to say) but try to dispose armor that slows you only for these levels OR just run for it and hope he doesnt catch up for you
IMPORTANT FOR JUGGERNAUTS: do not attempt the running around him trick as a juggernaut it wont work
Pit bosses and other devils
one thing is sure about the fiends:
they're like some humans
they are powerfull if the pitbosses can reach them but then you have those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yesmen

what yesmen do is upgrade the defense of their targeted pit boss make sure to finish a yesman before going after a pit boss a solid tactic for them is:
go after the devils able to do damage as more and more devilite overtimers and devilites are taken down the pit boss will be left alone with his yesman (if you didnt finish him already) caution:a pit boss becomes a normal devilite when there's no workforce around so keep the bosses for the last to avoid trouble
Mecha knights
they're actualy just swordmen but they can make a thread for shutters and bombers
first of all a mecha knights can charge up an attack when you see him doing that stop with what you're doing and get the hell out of there then try to attack again but stay out of their beating range and you'll be fine
Smaller monsters
scuttlebots dust bunny's scarabs and gel drops are none of a thread but unfortunatly they're NEVER alone making that group of monsters storming at you a thread for shutters and spies
the tactic for a spy here is the stay away from your team mates since thats where they'll be attacking and it will ruin your cloak so attack the ones that have wandered off and if you did use your pistol to eliminate the rest

for shutters the trick is to make sure that they keep distance since (most of) you have no meelee weapons to deal with up close enemies make them keep their distance and you'll be fine
Spookats
fast at reaching you and also being armed with a ranged attack they make a worthy enemy for a swordman and a bomber they are among the most clever monsters in the clockworks by switching their tactic from offensive then retreat and then choose the offense again

as for the bomber the trick is to make sure the bomb is set by the time he reaches you do that over and over again and you'll be fine for quite a while

for the swordman however you must avoid taking damage before he reaches you because they will try to weaken you before they make their way at you and give you the final blow use your shield or evasiveness to minimize damage when they reach you however beat them stupid before they run away again to a silkwing if thats around
Chromalisks
bassically they're wannabe spies with their poor cloaking they can reach you and do some damage if you're not paying attention this can give trouble to mobile bases and shutters

because shutters are too focused shooting at offending enemies they can hardly pay attention to whats close to them so if you're going into a beast level i acnt do anything but recommend to equip a sword to deal with chromalisks in close combat

for mobile bases you're busy keeping an eye on your aura powerup countdown (and i cant blame you keep an eye on it too) but it results in poor battle activity (not too much modt people just cant concentrate on 2 things) a tip to avoid this instead of watching the powerup bar you should actualy look at your seraphynx a sprite shows a hexagram when their powerup is charged again so if you watch the seraphynx you can pay more attention to the battle
Shankles and wisps
these are the main weakness of a spy you realy need to watch out for these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because they blow your cloak

remove the classes and instead do classes based on weapon type (swordman, gunner, bomberman)

Yeahhh

indeed, too bad it's so poorly written. What's even more ironic is that this is actually akin to online fanfiction when im actually writing a novel.

Yeah, at least you spent time on it with good intentions, even if it's really misleading.
Bug Boss  [skapare] 25 apr, 2017 @ 12:01
im not going to deny it's poorly written; But im genuinely surprised it get featured apparently.
Bug Boss  [skapare] 25 apr, 2017 @ 11:45
huh, odd. I made this when i played it on an old desktop and apparently before i figured out how to use punctuation properly...
Phelyne 25 apr, 2017 @ 11:22
I don't know why, but it was featured.

god is this old

And then you realize that bombs deal no damage and going full damage with autogun/brandish weapons will always be more effective than any of all this.

I wouldn't call them classes. You don't have to be restricted to just 1(special thanks to Arsenal Stations), which is essentially what a class isn't.

For example, most of the time I'm like your Swordsman, but I bring a gun out of necessity. (Stupid Lumbers.)

Also grammar.
