Hunting bears with the Rogue
By Azure
Hey guy, you see this little girl coming from the forest ? Now you are going to master her and become the most boring player in the universe for your ennemies. Don't take a rifle, use this bow to prove you are the best.

Who am I ?
Hi guys, I am OnlyJuggernaut, a french player of Dethroned. I started to play since it was release on the Steam Store and I pretty enjoyed the game, so I try to give you my keys to master a hero I really like to play.

I am actually on rank 1, which means not a lot of things at the moment.

After more than 50 games with the character named Rogue in 1v1 and 2v2 modes, I think I find a viable way to play her. Here I will explain you how to beat many players on the easy way.

Unlock the Rogue
The first thing you need to do is to unlick Rogue at the level 15 or with the DLC early access.
Skills
♦ Triple Shot
Pros : Range - Multiple targets - Low mana cost - Low cooldown - Huge hitbox - Burst - Push
Cons : Skillshot - Low damages

Level 1 : Each arrow deals arround 12-22 damages. Cost 20 mana. 3 secs cooldown.
Max Level : Each arrow deals arround 28-40 damages. Cost 17 mana. 3 secs cooldown.

This spell is really good for a ranged damage dealer.
You can stay safe and harass the ennemy permanently. It is useful to push.

If you hit only one target, the amount of damages is nice (arround 60 level 1 and 100 level) and the low mana cost and cooldown allows you to deal good damages during time. Use it between autohits.

♦ Paralysing Arrow
Pros : Stun - Target
Cons : Middle-range - No damages - High cooldown

This is not a very bad spell, but I wont max it because it deals no damages. It's helpful but not unbelievable. Do it to run away or to combo with a Rusher (Bear or Stone).

♦ Focus Fire
Pros: Passive - No mana cost - High Boost
Cons : Level 1 is bad, level 2 is normal, level 3 is powerful, level 4 is insane.

After many and many games, this spell started to become my favorite for many reasons. It says that is you focus your autohits on one guy, you will increase your attack speed. The hell it is true ! I was like a machine gun firing to kill bears and castles ! Please, just try it and you will see the real power of a bow.

♦ Mirror Image
Pros : Dealing damages – Helpful push – Fun – Mimics
Cons : Mana cost - Low HP

Can't mimic spells but add a good amount of damages.

Gameplay
Welcome to the early game, you suck.
Hello player, welcome to hell. You are level 1, you suck so hard. You deal low damages compared to other characters and you took no items to survive more. Holly crap. Use the normal BO to prepare the game and try to poke your ennemies with Triple Shot and auto hits. And back every time you are low in life : What does not kill you makes you stronger.
Do it for the level 1 and 2. Wait for your power. You can do it, I believe in you.

Welcome to the middle game at level 3-4, you are more than a ranged creep.
Your Focus fire is level 3 and gives you a lot of attack speed. If your ennemy is not Beaver or Stone, poke him and fight him like a man. You unlocked 3 items which gives you 15 damages, survivability and a chance to deal additionnal damages.

Welcome to the late game at level 5, you are now a machine gun.
Just use right clic on ennemy and wait, no matter what he does. You can hold everything and you do more damages than 30 ranged creeps. Capture every points and spawnkill your ennemies and the minions. Items gives you survivability (who says invicibility ?) and the power of a Rhino like the white Power Ranger.
Tips
Poke a lot
You are a ranged character, low mana cost and with a little stun. Don't forget to autohit, but always stay away from your ennemy if he is full life. A good situation is when the ennemy is trying to capture a Ticket Point. Stay away from him and use skills and autohits. Then he must back and you can have the point for yourself. Easy, clear, fun, and boring for the poor adversary.

Don't kyte...
If an ennemy is chasing you, don't try to kyte. The animation is too long a for each autohit you deal, your ennemy deals one too. And you have a bad HP pool. Just use your and your stun legs to run on base or get a pot.

...But always turn back !
If you see your ennemy to stop chasing you, turn back and do autohits like a boss. If he goes back to chase, then run away again.

When you win a fight before the level 4
When you win a fight with Rogue, if your ennemy is good, you are always low life. You should go base or grabe a potion because you have no survivabilty.

When you win a fight after the level 4
You do not care anymore. You are insane and the life regen items (Green) are giving you the best sustain ever. Enjoy the victory.
Still in work
I have some parts to add to this guide, but I have to play more to understand how to play against all the characters. Wait & See !
