7.38b (Roamer) Lina [Support/Semi-Carry]
By Mel
Lina Support/Semi Carry

Hi Guys, its been a while since I last posted a guide and today I'm gonna show you how to play Lina

We'll be going over from the Starting items to end game items,

So sit back and relax and let yourself be accustomed to Lina

Lina is a very versatile hero that can play any lane.

Its entirely up to you or your friends how your going to play as her.

Let's go first with Starting Items

Ideally you want to buy at least 2 stacks of tangoes, give 2 to your mid if your a support,
2 circlets of nobilty to be later built into null talismans
and 2 ironwood branches

As for skills, typically you'll be getting LSA at level one because of its utility when fighting for bounty runes or when ever you want to deny your creeps.

Levelling up your skills in the laning stage depends on how you're going to play, if you're going as a support, you would want to get 2 levels on LSA and 2 levels on fiery soul to max out your harrassment potential early on.
Then after that you should look into maxing out dragon slave for more magic damage.

As for being a Core Lina, you would want to max out Dragon Slave for ealier on for easy CS. then 1 point for LSA and Fiery Soul

Once you are at Level 6, regardless if your a core or support, I would suggest grouping up with another support and doing a smoke gank on the enemy midlane or carry.

Make sure to always have a lot of mangoes/ clarities because you will be running out of mana for most of the time.

Next items to get would be a euls scepter or a shadow blade, these items help you land your LSA accurately.

After that would be Boots of Travel so that you can zip through the map and out farm the enemy.

Next item on the list will be a choice between getting a damage item or going straight for BKB, the choice will depend on how the enemy lineup is, if they have a lot of lockdown/stuns, I'd always go for bkb, but if you're miles ahead you can then go for witch blade,
think of it as a mini skadi on a 9 second cooldown, it not only applies your intelligence stat as damage per second but it also slows the enemy by 25% for 3 seconds.

After that you can pretty much choose if you're going for something like a force staff to save people, a blood thorne to silence and do a lot of crits or something like Scythe to disable a key enemy.

At this point you might be wondering why I'm not telling you to get Agh's or just the shard, well again it entirely depends on the circumstances, if you just want to have a skill that goes through bkb, you can just get the shard, if you want more damage on your ultimate, get the aghs since it will make it into a pure damage skill.

but again keep in mind that you're almost always going to run out of mana if you you're going to follow the guide.
