Oh my god hahaha I am sorry I've spooked you for years like that, but that story made my morning.
One story to another, I can no longer play other HL2 maps with water because I am always worried they have leeches in them, you know those that exist in the HL2 campaign when you swim too far out - because the map maker can put them in any body of water and you'd have no way of knowing if the water's safe until you actually touch it and see if you get swarmed immediately. Terrifying shit.
If anything, nowadays it's impossible to hide screamers in a map or game without people finding out and warning others of it.
This isn't meant to be a diss on you or anything, I just think it's kind of funny, I still do sort of have the fear to this day to an extent but not as bad as it was when I was little lol.
Is a joke, there are no screamers.
