Servant Entrance I jumped on the safe platform to shot the gnolls. I also added in a couple Zappers at the very end to take care of the grenade gnolls. Way less error prone than trying to use bear traps.
Corridors I used the stone staff instead of blunderbuss which made wave 1 harder, so I had to change strats. Placed 2-3 barricades to push enemies into a wall. Then I added a tar trap and a flame vents. 2 archers on wave 1 and waited for wave 2 to place bear traps.
You can check out this playlist, though: http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x3rg4n_Wyatan_omd2-endless-5-skulls
I gathered there the videos where I show a strategy for 5-skulling endless mode. Most are part of a challenge or "record breaking" attempt, so they're a bit extreme, but they can give you ideas.
I'm not a big fan of the Mushroom/Portal Trap setups (although you can see me taking that to the extreme in one vid). For merely 5-skulling, my standard setups would involve the Void Wall/Windbelt combo, and/or a high damage output through Barrel Dispensers and Dwarves.
And yes, the Hive and Chilled Cavern are clearly amongst the toughest solo maps in the game.
Had to tweak around the values and do some testing because
a) I didn't want it to fire faster than could be achieved manually
b) It didn't agree with FRAPS running and started skipping a lot of shots when my framerate went down (still haven't totally solved the issue, as can be seen some videos).
I believe I ended up with a loop of 20 ms button click, 120ish ms delay.
You can find some discussion about it, and an AHK script at those links:

I love the stone staff but my finger is killing me.
Thanks
