What to expect in R6
"Master the art of destruction and gadgetry in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege." - Ubisoft.
The above is a lie by Ubitrash... I-I mean Ubisoft themselves.

The whole aim of this game is to deliver as much verbal abuse as possible, to either your teammates or opponents. This will depends on who is easier to trigger, i will explain how to do this later in the guide.

The R6 community as a whole is super toxic. It seems to bring every man and their dog from the darkest areas in your local city. From screeching to the common abuse, you will experience the real meaning of toxic behaviour.
This i why its important to have a few trash talks of your own.
Quick Match or Ranked?
Choosing between QM or R is very important. Remembering that the most try hard players play Ranked, but you can still have plenty of fun in QM.

Picking the right gamemode for your playstyle can mean the difference between failure or success.

Quick Match - The go to for warming up your trash talk and team killing skills.

Generally speaking this should be you go to when first starting out.
This will help you get an understanding of what the community is like.

Pros
  • Can afford to teamkill
  • Can afford to lose match
  • Easier to tilt the enemy

Cons
  • Not a lot of people use mics
  • Matches don't last long
  • People are likely to leave early

Ranked - The easiest gamemode to tilt both teammates and opponents.

The ideal gamemode for hearing people cry after delivering an impressive insult
or teamkill.

Pros
  • People want to win badly
  • Team kill will get you some form of salt
  • Text trash talk after wins or kills will tilt opponents

Cons
  • Usually a high skill gap
  • People are quick to mute
  • Hurts your MMR / Rank

Now that you know the pros & cons of QM & R this should help you pick the right style for you.

Quick Match tips
The entry level to the art... Quick Match. Where all the virgins and casual gamers of R6 come together to play like utter ♥♥♥♥. From raging insults to making people spend more time in the spectate screen, than actually playing this trash game.

Great for practising your lines on new(ish) players.

Remember:
  • Matches don't last long
  • You're not locked into playing the full match
  • You only have one TK per match
  • It only takes one bullet to kill a teammate
  • People are quick to mute
  • Text chat is your best friend
  • Practice makes perfect
Ranked tips
Now that you have decided that Ranked is the best gamemode for tilting other players, you want to start with... getting to know your teammates.
Starting with a "Does anyone have a mic?" is a good opener for what is about to come.
Of course every try hard in Ranked will respond with the boring "yep", "yeah" or "Yes". This is your time to strike!
Before they can even fit another word in you follow up with the "No one asked you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥", "stfu" or "omfg you sound dumb asf". These basic.. But effective openings will ensure that the team gets tilted early.

Remember:

  • Everyone try hards in Ranked
  • Try to take an operator that a teammate wants
  • Body block teammates
  • Destroy cameras
  • Play support operators, but don't help the team

Welcome To The World Of Salt
You can deliver a final blow in your first sentence, this is what makes trash talking so unique.
From personal enjoyment to making a career out of it, you won't be disappointed once you pick up this popular talent. Some are born to tilt, others develop it later in life.
One thing they all have in common is they enjoy what they do.

How To Identify Your Toxic Level
Use the in-game standings to guide you in your trash talking career.

  • Be the first to acquire the defuser and refuse to use it.
  • Spawn camp from windows.
  • Play "support" operators and don't give your team the help they need.

Seasons Pass Scam
This is ubitrash's way of getting free money off you. AVOID IT!

Teamkilling Tips
Aim for a clean, one shot headshot. This will ensure you don't get a reverse TK without getting the kill. Wait for your target to be standing still or preforming an action.

If you miss the shot or only manage to down your teammate, quickly DC to avoid embarrassment.

Ranked Progression

Unfortunately Ubitrash show you this fake image when playing ranked -

This is a lie and we have remade the image, so you can better understand the progression -

It defines your trash talking ability and should be taken seriously, if you want to succeed as a try Trash Talking Master.
Things to note while playing
  • If someone DC's due to your trash talking, you should feel more proud than listening to them cry.
  • Picking the right insult is key to winning the trash talk.
  • Laughing at their reaction will deliver the final blow 90% of the time.
  • Sometimes you won't get a reaction from anyone.
  • You can get a player to rage without using racism.
  • Pointing out stutters, squeaks and heavy breathing can have an equal effect to a well timed trash talk.
  • Teammates may assist if you can produce impressive lines.
  • Playing bad can increase team salt.
  • Playing good can increase opponent salt.
  • Always say yes if you get team killed, even if it wasn't intentional.

Comeback / Trash Talk ideas
We're not going to create every line for you, but here is some useful "go-to's" we like to use when tilting in R6.

"Sorry couldn't see the screen because your mum's fat ass was blocking it"
- When someone is talking ♥♥♥♥ in chat.
- Excuse if you are playing bad.

"Can't hear anyone below me on the leaderboard"
- When you have a higher score than someone who is mouthing off.

"Oh sorry guys I think I loaded us into a bot match"
- When you are stomping the opponent.

"yawn zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
- When you are winning.

"Sorry, too busy with your mum at the moment"
- If you can't think of a comeback straight away.

"Okay, {playersrank}"
*Note - This has the best effect when they are a lower rank than you.
- This can be used when you are either a higher rank or unranked player.

"Why do i always get the ♥♥♥♥ team"
- When you have a trash team and want to get a reaction.
- Has an equal effect when you are on the bottom of the leaderboard.

"Sick of having to carry every game"
- Has the best effect when you aren't the one carrying.

"Look at that head, no wonder views are low"
- When there is a Twitch streamer.

"Bet you go to a TAFE" (Australian)
"Bet you go to a Community College" (American)
- When you want to insult their intelligence/education. Try spicing it up with some extra details. Eg. "Bet you are doing an Arts degree at Vic Uni" - Major insult to a someone who lives in Melbourne, Australia.

Who to tilt? Teammates or Opponents?
Either is fine. But to get the best effect, one must choose... Teammate or Opponent.

Teammates - Usually the easiest to tilt as you have voice comms.
  • If you can tell your team is desperate to win, they can become extremely easy to tilt.
  • If someone is playing poorly, give them a nudge ;).
  • Stop your carry from winning the game. Remember - 1 shot to the head is a kill.

Opponents - Usually the easiest way to tilt... Text chat.
  • Let them know your team won after every round.
  • If you stomped them - "Wow, such a close game".
  • After every kill drop "Ez".

Quick tip - Trash talk anyone and everyone.

In-game trolling ideas
Reinforce spots your team want left open.
- Great way to get a reaction early.
- Great for testing if people have mics.

Shoot/Destroy deployables.
*Examples
- Rook's armour pack.
- Castles barricades.

Zap your teammates with Twitch's drone or Maestro's evil eye.
- Good if you want to be annoying and distracting - can get your team killed.

Drop "Ez" after every round and every kill.
- Good for tilting and getting good reactions from the opponent.

About Us
VoxE
The ultimate ♥♥♥♥ talker.

Multiple perm bans on League of Legends for toxic text chat. Literally spends more time at spawn talking ♥♥♥♥ than actually playing the game.

Despised in Dead by Daylight for post-match chat and in-game BMing (Just check profile comments).

Also banned on many community game servers.
Conclusion
You will now have a strong understanding on trash talking in the R6 community, for both offensive and defensive purposes.
Your greatest strength is hearing the salt from someone you have just mentally destroyed through the art of trash talk.

As you can see, trash talking is regarded as the standard language in R6. Don't feel ashamed for telling your anchor his mum is hot because he is playing trash.
