Yeah, it's a refference to Dead Island. The first DL 1 also has a LOT of Dead Island refferences.

I just bought "Dying Light 2" and in the very first mission you see a vinyl disc in a house. The title? "Who do you Voodoo". The main character even says he remembers it from the past xDD

the intro is pretty much the best thing about the game

yep. this is just an amazing intro. i remember back when the game was first released, i was absolutely stunned. everything felt so, well, so like what a zombie game is supposed to be. Zombies, weapons, customisability, graphics, 10/10.
