This is the bridge going away from your boat into the town.

at the end of the Bridge turn left and follow the row of houses.

keep walking along the river and you'll find the new trader :)

The sneaky one is still there to find for you but has no more trade option and just the request for help.

have fun trading all those coins and getting some smexy clothes.

i don't know what you do wrong, but in my unmoded game i load in and the character is where i described it to be.

yes the trader is still there. just keep walking along the river edge past the boxes and crates you now encounter but the place is still the same. Sadly i was not allowed to upload any new images because the steam client does not open a file selector window for me.

Is he still at the same spot with all the recent updates?

i checked and they are still there :O
but i can see where you might have gotten lost..
you have to walk around the house you see in picture 3 with the big door at its side walk past it on the right side turn left 2 times and you should be next to the river and inside some kinda backally between houses. (picture 4 has the river right behind the character)

It might have been changed.
honestly i have not kept this guide updated since i always lose any progress with each game update so i got tired of playing for now.
