Hello!
Today I (Alex) will teach you how to beat greatsword!
Let's get into it!

Step 1:
Okay so you've just started up the game.
what you do now is you press Alt+F4 at the same time!

Step 2:
Go into your steam library and right click on brawlhalla.
A menu should pop up. Hover over "manage" and click "uninstall"!

Step 3:
For the last step you right click on brawlhalla again and hover over "manage".
Whatever you do DO NOT click "install". This will remove your progress to beating greatsword!
Instead click "Remove from account"

Step 4:
Beg bmg to remove greatsword. Please. I cannot stand it anymore. I'm just a plat that can't do anything. Please help :(

In all seriousness:
I hope they just up the startup frames and recovery frames or lower the stunframes. Some of the true combos you can do are just ridiculous. If a greatsword player whiffs his first attack then he can pump out 2 more before their opponent can even have a chance to attack. Point is is that they put all of the broken things into a weapon. I feel like it's a combination of Katars, Scythe and hammer. The attacks are as quick as katars, maybe even quicker. It has more string potential than scythe, and it hits like hammer. If you guys actually want a guide on how to beat greatsword I'll try and find out the weaknesses of the weapon. If you have any ideas please comment or add me as a friend and message me. Update 26/07/21: Tbh not many people are good at greatsword atm because of the nerf, but here something general against it: It's grounded moves have a lot of recovery frames and are fairly easy to punish, as long as you stand out of range of Dlight Opener and/or a little diagonally above, the greatsword player will most likely have a harder time hitting you.
