Silver Coin Trick (+Biome Changing)

This isn't going to give you a ton of money, but it will double your silver. If you have all that wood and time that you can waste then please try this out. :)

All you need is wood and some silver coins, a campfire, a Merchant, including some time and a snow biome.

What to do

So you've got a lot of wood that you don't need anymore or just want to waste and you've got the time to do so, so what do you do?

Well if you talk to the Merchant, you will see Marshmallows being sold for a silver coin. Buy as many as you want. Double how many you bought and that will be how much silver you will get in a bit.

So after you've done all this, get that unused wood and shove it into that marshmallow. Get to your cozy campfire and stick it over the fire for about 15 seconds. (The stick will dissappear and you will have a cooked marshmallow)

Once you've cooked them all head back over to your Merchant and sell all those marshmallows and you will get double what you spent.

It's not an awesome way to make money but it works. I hope this helped some people.

(NOTE)

The Merchant will only sell the marshmallow's if he's in a snow biome.

Biome Changing

So this is where I removed a lot of dirt and started placing snow. As you can see it's already turning into the snow biome. I'm sure you can do this with other blocks as well.

This is it after I have placed a lot of snow and ice. It's completely it's own snow biome now, you can see some of the snow biome background. This is one way you can get the marshmallows. The other is just to build a small house in the snow and you will be able to buy marshmallows.

The game is fun to play with other people :) In the mean time try to get a magic mirror if you don't already have one. It will help you quite a bit :) I wish you both luck in defeating the Underworld and finding a Sunfury along with the other Semi-rare items :)

Try to see if you can get a buddy to help you out :) It's best to wait for an obsidian skull and maybe a shield before you go down to the Underworld. Ranged weapons might be good if you don't have great close combat weapons :)

It's the same for consoles :) Just keep digging down. You will find the cests mainly in the small "buildings" in the Underworld. :)

You can find shadow chests around the Underworld. So it's risky to go there unless you've got some decent weapons or armor, or if you are good at evading the enemies and projectiles :)
