"Here's an example of what the all-nines seed does (e.g. "999..." until you fill the field with 9's). It's bizarre. Haven't seen another island like it yet. Nearly completely flat. Forest biome is above a sheer cliff and hasn't got a single tree on it. Inside that cliff face, are caverns with columns throughout like some dwarven fortress hall or something."

Oh, and about the desert "slabs," no caverns of any sort. I did check by digging, lol.

Ah, gotcha. Sorry about that. If I counted correctly, I only found 2 relic chests in the large caverns, but 3 chests in the shallow caverns under the grassland biome. One of those chest was super-ninja-hidden. And they all had scrolls I already had. I'm down to 1 superb runestone recipe needed. /sigh

I was talking about the desert biomes...I'd wandered around but didn't think they could be outside of LOD or something..

They are not as plentiful as the coal. But also, maybe it just looks like a lot because I can see them all at the same time. But yes, they are in there! :-)

Yep, the caverns are awesome. So many gemstone veins! And I finally found the desert "biomes." I had to adjust my graphics settings to increase the distance visability before I could see them.

Anytime. It's a very, VERY strange island. Inside that cliff are huge caverns that remind me of Moria from LOTR. If I recall correctly, the desert biome is not very bug, unfortunately. I think it's all of a couple of slivers of island floating off to the side. I just love how bizarre it is. Most islands are varied with rarely any large flat terrain areas except for the desert biome. But, here, it's grassland as far as you can possibly go!

OMG, thanks! I started an island with the seed number you listed (2147483647). It is PERFECT for building on (even though I'll have to import most materials). Can't wait to find the desert biome, but WOW! /drool

Once you're in, just turn right at the dragonstone...it will appear once it renders. That number is the largest number for a signed integer and it's as far as you can go I think (I think they just wrap it around if you use larger numbers). I tried the negative version but it was "wrapped" as well so it wasn't interesting really. :)

Crap, I forgot to post it. Turns out the words translate into numbers. So you can just use a number to get the same effect (unless they fixed it). Try this number as the seed: 2147483647
