Rock Island EMC TA Kansas City Rocket

The Rock Island Line, formally known as the Chicago Rock Island & Pacific Railroad, was a Class I railroad that operated in the Midwest United States. The company bankrupted several times through the 1960s and 1970s due to the overall decline of railroads in the US. Eventually they finally went under in 1980, most of their mainlines went to the Union Pacific, and the Iowa Interstate Railroad.

The locomotives are modeled after their absolutely gorgeous EMC TA, an early version of the popular "E unit", locomotives. The passenger train is named after the Kansas City Rocket that ran between Kansas City and Minneapolis.



Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.
imported with a prototype mod to reduce the texture compression in game so the file size is large
