Cyberpunk Performance Improvement - Easy FPS Boost

Cyberpunk 2077 seems to ignore SMT and mostly utilise physical CPU cores on AMD, but all logical cores on Intel CPUs.

This causes reduced performance, luckily there's a simple fix.

1 - Download Hex Editor https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/
2 - Open the EXE with HXD (Hex Editor).
3 - Press CTRL + F & change column to Hex-Values
4 - Look for: 75 2D 33 C9 B8 01 00 00 00 0F A2 8B C8 C1 F9 08
5 - Change to: 74 2D 33 C9 B8 01 00 00 00 0F A2 8B C8 C1 F9 08
6 - ???
7- Profit - Enjoy the extra frames

Please note, if you've already done this, there is no need to remove it as it still works for patch 1.20.

I am currently awaiting an AMD CPU so I can test how Cyberpunk runs without the HEX edit.

@Ragnarocker I don't believe there are any changes. Awaiting an AMD CPU so I can test with and without the change.

@Rooky Booky Glad to hear you're not impacted. It was meant to have been fixed patches ago, but some users still had to use the above fix.

i never saw any improvement in frames for this, but ive been told thats because i have a 3700x and its been working fine anyway so idk

Update: based on a few conversations I've had, this fix is providing anywhere between 5-15 extra FPS.
