How to Use This Guide

Origamis are listed in chronological order (i.e. based on the route of a playthrough)

Most of their corresponding pieces on the jigsaw follow the same order as the playthrough, but some of them are swapped.

However, there is no way to verify which of those origamis are swapped once you've collect all of them, that's why I had to label "possibly swapped" in the directory. Please let me know if you can confirmed that some of them are indeed swapped or not.

Feel free to skip the following content unless you find the previous directory confusing.

How to quickly locate your missing origami:

Step 1: Check the jigsaw of the chapter where you missed origami
example:
Step 2: Go to the previous directory, and locate your origami directly
example:
By reading the directory, you find it says "The Swing - 1" at the missing part.
Now you know you should go to "Exposition The Swing" and find the first origami
As you can see, it says "section 2" before 1, which means you should load the second check point, which is marked in the following screenshot.

After loading the correct check point, you should be able to collect the missed origami pretty easily with the help of the screenshot.

I hope this guide is helpful. Please let me know if there is any mistake, I will correct it as soon as possible.

It doesn't seem like anyone has mentioned this yet, but in the 'Exposition: In the Shadow' section of the guide, the same screenshot is used for both Section 5 (Origami #3) and Section 6 (Origami #4). You might want to update the screenshot.

**continued from my other message:
I kept going around the tree, collecting pieces "11-16" over and over and then going to the save point and it would NOT give me that one I was missing that is MARKED as piece #16.
Finally, I backtracked just a little bit, and even though that one in the corner is BEFORE the tree, I realized I didn't really remember collecting that one, so I made sure to backtrack and collect it, THEN hit the save. That triggered it.

So, technically, up there in the guide, the piece labeled "10" is actually "16" and the section that is labeled "11-16" is actually "10-15"

I understand why you have it listed the way you do, but it might be important for future people looking for help to find a way to make sure to make this distinction in your guide. Thank you so much for this guide, by the way! It still helped me keep from spending hours and hours running the WHOLE LEVEL searching for this piece!

So I know this is a touch old, but I just want to make a really important note:
Even though, in sequence, in Act II: Progress, you run into origami piece "10" before you run into "11-16" (all of them are physical ones, not shadows, "11-16" are the ones you collect around the tree), there's an issue where that "10" is ACTUALLY #16.
Explanation:
I was missing "10" but when I looked at the image of the puzzle pieces, the one it showed I was missing was "16" -- specifically, the one that actually has the girl on it, hiding behind the block with her head down and hair in her face. The piece that has her head on it with her hair. That piece was the piece I was missing. But I was looking at this guide and confused as hell because that one - when counted, comes out as piece #16, if you count the pieces -- plus, on here it even SAYS that that piece is part of the "11-16" ones.

Progress Bird 10 is actually bird 16

I can't get the game to recognize that I have earned the birds. I've gone thru Act I Fantasy, for instance, and know I have earned all 10 but it still says I've only achieved 7/10. Can you tell me how or when or what triggers it?

I was missing the bird marked as Fantasy-2 in the screenshot, and i found it as the physical one, on section 2, when you go down the rail. So i guess it is swapped regarding the description you made for the bird 3 : walk along the rail
