Merrick's Joseph II (Austria)

描述
Emperor Joseph II ruled Austria 1765 to 1790 and is considered one of the three greatest enlightenment monarchs alongside Catherine the Great and Frederick the Great. He was committed to modern reforms that met lots of opposition, and as such he failed in many of his attempts to implement his policies. However he is still remembered as setting Austria on the path to modernity and as a patron of the arts and music.

Joseph II
The Musical King
  • Patronage of Great People costs 5% less Gold per Cultural or Militaristic City State you are Suzerain of (25% max).
  • Renaissance Walls provide +1 Amenity and contain a slot for a Great Work of Music.
  • Gains the Imperial Court Theatre unique building with Opera and Ballet.

Imperial Court Theatre
  • Built in the Museum slot as an alternative to the Art or Archaeological Museums.
  • +2 Culture and +3 Great Work of Music slots.
  • +2 Great Musician Points, +1 Great Writer Point
  • Theming Bonus: Double Tourism when holding three Great Works of Music from different artists.

Enlightened Despot
  • Likes to gather Great People and keep his people happy, likes Civilizations that do the same. Dislikes Civilizations with low Culture and Happiness.

I can confirm what Ramon reported; the discounted patronage cost only applies to Great Writers and Artist.

Uffty- I get your point, but that treatment is given to most cities (at least in the English version of Civ VI)
I mean, it is the English version. Really, it's whether you prefer accurate city names vs easy to read and remember

I like it very much :-) But there is no city in Austria called Vienna (english), but Wien (german), because Austrians speak german and not english. But regardless of that, fantastic job. :-)))

An important note. The reduction in the cost of gold in great personalities is only in the writers and artists. Musicians and other great personalities are not getting cut back when they become overlords in military or cultural city-states.

I took the test now and only applies to those great personalities mentioned above.

Every official expansion and fully updated game with just this mod .
everytime i try to start, this window show up:
"there was an error starting the game......
....Error: one or more mod failed to load content"
