To unlock Divided by Death prophecy you should first progress with Achilles and Patroclus dialogs.

One particular dialog is required from Patroclus - Patroclus will tell Zagreus to pass on a message to Achilles, to "risk it all".

As Patroclus spawn is random and his desire to give this line to Zagreus also depends on a ton of other dialogues and random circumstances it can be really hard to unlock said speech. It's especially painful trying to get this line if you've already completed all the other achievements for the game cause after that it just becomes a tedious grind without any challenge.

You can easily unlock this prophecy by removing requirement of Patroclus "risk it all" dialog from the game files. It's very simple and requires zero programming skills.

Here is a step by step guide:

1. Go to the game install folder. Just right click on your game in Steam then select Properties->Local Files->Browse Local Files.

2. Make a copy of NPCData.lua. This is the file that contains all in game logic for npc dialogues, their requirements and order of appearing.
3. Open NPCData.lua with any text editor.
4. Press Ctrl + f to search for AchillesAboutMyrmidonReunionQuest01 =. This is the dialog with Achilles that starts the prophecy.
5. Delete the line that is a bit below: RequiredAnyTextLines = { "PatroclusAboutMyrmidonReunionQuest01" },. This will remove a requirement for Patroclus "risk it all" dialog and will give you an ability to start Achilles quest without talking to Patroclus.
6. Save the file.

Congratulations! Now just continuously talk to Achilles, he’ll eventually give you his quest. (You can die in the first chamber to skip fast through his lines if you don’t want to wait too long)
