Descripción
Provides controller support for Squad Management within LWotC via a completely re-designed interface.



* This mod will NOT work when using a mouse and keyboard !
** This mod requires both LWotC and Robojumper's Squad Select to be installed, else it will crash.

I also had the same experience as @gravyjones.

From my tests, I've found that there was a compatibility issue with "[WOTC] Detailed Soldier Lists Redux", and that "[WOTC] Extended Personnel Info Redux" would visually break the UI, however not "stealing" the controls.

anyone have issues with the squad menu disappearing? i have to go to squad management and hit the button i want within a fraction of a second or the button actions revert to default.

@kdm2k6 worked like a charm! I understand people move on from things so thank you for taking the time to reply :). I can now play modded xcom 2 on my Steam Deck properly :D

Give this a try:
1.] Install a custom squad icon mod
2.] Go to its config folder and open up an .ini file, looking for SquadImagePaths
3.] Copy any SquadImagePaths you are interested in
4.] Go to this mod's config folder and open XComSquadSettings.ini
5.] Add the SquadImagePaths from step 3

I haven't worked on modding XCom 2 for quite some time and don't have the SDK installed, so hopefully this works (since I am unlikely to implement any code changes at this point).

been hunting for something like this for ages! makes it so much better on steam deck, thanks for this :). alternatively can this be done by editing .ini files?

Left stick click opens the squad menu on the squad select screen.

The squad management works really well! However, I can't seem to select a Squad at the Mission Breifing screen where you add soldiers. I can see the Squad button on the top but none of my controller buttons are getting to it. Which button is used for the squad drop-down menu?

? It's a mod designed to specifically add support to the Squad Manager for people using controllers ... I don't see any issue that the new features don't work with Kb+M ??
