From the day I first played Halo Reach, I have always wondered: 'Who is Reach? And why is this game named after him?'. Well in this short guide we will finally reveal to the Halo fan base who Reach actually is!!!1!! Following the discovery of Halo's identity, we quickly got to work trying to figure out who Reach is too. Right off the bat, we are taunted in the first cutscene/mission "Noble actual", with Reach's name in big letters across the whole screen, suggesting that we will never get to find out who it is (nice try Bungie). Later on in this level we see many different Halos, however it is not very clear as to which one actually is Reach. The first hint as to Reach's identity is the name of the mission, revealing that all of the Halos are on the planet Contingency (Reach's home planet) and are preparing for winter. Later in this mission, we learn that this group of Halos are called "Team Actual" and we are able place names on some of its members: July, Emily, Dog, Jreg and Carton, however they are able to keep the identity of Reach a mystery. The second mission however, is where we made our discovery, similar to the discovery of Halo. As you progress, killing rebels and chickens along the way, we finally make our way to a native vehicle of the planet Contingency known as the 'Shovel'. Thus far, we have been lead to believe that the character we are playing as is known as "Lonely Wolf", however upon entering the Shovel and turning our screen around, we can see that we are in fact Reach himself!!!?!1! WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING AS REACH ALL ALONG!!!

The only mystery left unsolved is why everyone on Team Actual refers to Reach so much, when you are the one playing as him. Do they know of your secret identity? Or do they still think that you are Lonely Wolf? More importantly, why is everyone prepared to die for Reach, I personally think that they should be more worried about the Covernment's presence on Contingency! >:(
Furthermore, at the end of the game, after Reach's sudden capturing by the Covernment (probably for tax fraud), we learn that reach fell (ouch). Not going to lie, I really hope that he is okay, wish him a swift recovery and hope that more games featuring him come out soon, since we know that Halo is in fact not coming back and we are now following the story of a new character called the "Master Chief".

On a closing note, we never get clarity whether Emily is answered by the Covernment Elytra as to whether they are ready?!?!?!?!?!?! The Elytra tries its best to answer, but is rudely interrupted by Emily stabbing it. What would he have said? Did he answer on the way down?

So many mysteries, and while we couldn't solve them all, we were able to solve the biggest one: "Who is Reach?". I therefore pass the question on to you, the reader (also Reach?), if you can solve the other questions brought to light in this analysis that we have conducted.
