Silent Hunters - Stealthier Submarines

This is a balance adjustment mod which tweaks sonar to make surface ship and dipping sonar less effective (especially against high-tier stealth engines) while broadly retaining the effectiveness of submarine sonar. This increases the potential of submarines for performing ambushes, surveillance, and first-strikes. It also adds* periscopes to encourage their use for surveillance purposes.

This mod is primarily intended to be used alongside mods that make surface naval units more effective at hunting submarines in order to help counter-balance their improved capabilities, although in the current meta you may find it enjoyable to use in the vanilla game as well.

It is compatible with both vanilla and TAR5US's Naval Super Mod and should be broadly compatible with other mods too.

*This is the same periscope ability as already in the Naval Super Mod, so nothing in added if using Naval Super Mod
