Best Dragon Ball Farming Method No One Has Talked About

I'm gonna be brief here. There is one PQ that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has talked about. And that PQ is: Great Ape Festival aka PQ79. If done correctly (getting the ult finish) you have a total of 6...yes, SIX chances of getting a dragon ball. I found this strat out from a friend of mine and wanted to share it with everyone.

Now for the explanation. When you start the normal Great Ape Festival you start in the Sky. Go the the Pod Crash site next, there will be 3 Patrolers in training waiting there...obviously fight them for three chances at dragon balls. Afterwards go through the quest as fast as possible after beating them, after beating the three, yes 3 Great Apes, return to the sky and you'll fight three more Patrolers in training each having their own chances for dropping dragon balls. Done.

Now my personal best run I've had with this strat has gotten me four dragon balls in one run (yes, that good) but on average I usually only get one or two per run.

Hopefully this helps.

Edit: After grinding here for a bit, I realised one thing...If you look in the second condition for the ULT finish, it's 10 min, where in the first game it was 5 min...and I've always thought of this quest as 5 min to get ULT finish, so the cutting it close has been removed, due to my mis-remembering. and is easy to do as soon as you get it with three people.

FRUIT PUNCH While I do see your point, I do prefer using this method and feel it's better because there is a total of 6 chances per run. And while I do admit you have your points, it is personal preference.

I'm not saying this PQ isn't good for farming dragon balls, but there are other options that are simply faster.

Explosion of Namek is one. You defeat four enemies in total, three of which are patrollers. Great Ape Festival has nine enemies in total, making for a slower run as well as a lower percentage of enemies that are patrollers.

Great Ape Festival is definitely more fun, though.

I, personally, repeatedly do Explosion Of Namek. It's quick to finish, yields A decent amount of Hercule Badges, and, the best part of all, as long as you defeat Freezer in under 3 Minutes, 3 Time Patroller C.A.C's (That are in your server) are loaded in as N.P.C's for you to fight! They all have A chance of dropping A Dragon Ball, and I've summoned Shen-Long... I think it was 4... Times in one day!

??? i just do PQ 4, kick the shit out of yam, kril, tien, beat the 3 patrolers finish the quest. rinse and repeat till i get 7, no rushing, no try harding.
