Like many other modern Rougelikes Brut@l creates a temporary Savegame if you want to take a break. This Savegame is in the the Steam-Folder:

[Drive:]\Steam\steamapps\common\Brut@l\brut@l_Data\userdata\94635007\d3_PlayerSaveFile.bsf

What you want to do is:

- Everytime you finish a level (or reach another milestone) "Save & Exit" the game.
- Copy the now created File into another Folder.
- Return to the gam eand continue your session.
- If you die EXIT the game (It's not working while the game is running!) and copy your stored Savegame back to the original folder.
- Start the game and you can continue like nothing has ever happened. ;-)
