[LKF] Lancer heavy frigate

Intro

The Lancer was originally designed for use in my Space Engineers cinematic To Luna. however it proved popular among viewers so I decided to turn into a working ship.

As i'm sure you can tell, I got a lot of inspiration for this design from the nebulon B frigate.

It can carry a small craft in its hangar bay located on the chin.

Description

The Lancer class heavy frigate was designed to be able to stay in combat for long periods of time. To accomplish this the ship features:

• heavy armour with plenty of spaced armour points and decoy systems.
  
• strong point defense grid
  
• turret repair grid
  
• redundant internal systems
  
• heavy firepower

Overall its proved itself a very useful ship to have in any fleet. Its size means that it often acts as a command ship in fleets and battlegroups too.

Early in production a Lancer was pulled from its shipyard to act as a stop-gap medical frigate. This ship was named 'Heilen' and spends its days in orbit above Luna. Most of its interior consists of medical space.
