If that's the case and she does trigger a game over screen, then I will rename this guide outdated.
I know this is an older-ish guide but it might still attract some people and cause some...
not so desired results from the happy (now dead) loanshark customers.
All I kinda remember is going into the cellar, bashing a few demons and a loanshark, and running away with the cash.
Are you saying there is a failsafe for her to trigger a game over? If so, they must've added it later? this sure would make me look like the biggest liar writing this guide
Once you reach the staircase that leads you to the end battle fight Sanguinia Tell will stop the player that took out a loan and smash their blood vial which will kill them, I only took out a loan once (bc I knew what would happen if I did) so I'm a bit rusty on the next part but I think she causes a game over even if you have other living party members.
But yea I too think it would make it a bit too obvious,
I loved how off the whole mission felt, through dialogue and hints you could learn so much more about the first shallow sounding quest.
all without real quest indicators only you finding out things by yourself.
Maybe like a barred storage vault in the cellar with a magic lock that only she can open, filled with gold. That way even if you do kill her at least you realize you missed out and may want to go back and redo the scenario.
After all 150 000 gold coins is a hell of a lot of coins. About 1.5 tons. Hard to think an old woman keeps that on her person.
Then again that would make the optimal play obvious and everyone would take the loan and kill her.
And what I mean is, I knew the loan bit was there (and what all, was involved in it)... but never wandered across it, for some reason~ xD
So... thanks again~ ;p
Didn't notice that myself, although easy to fix sure, but I don't know how Steam acts to me changing stuff, last time it took the guide down for a while and nodded it down the "community page" section.
I would like it to stay up for people to see this, as I really like the upbeat comments you guys write here :)
Ah, but anyway, little inconsistencies add character, no? :p
Also happy to hear the guide was for help and thanks for reading, always appreciated :)
I felt like I should mention you still have "substantial amount of capital income in third act"... in the Description...
Now, I'm not sure how easy that is to fix... but considering Arx is Act 4, as you've adjusted, it'd be the 'Fourth'~ ;p
Cheers for the helpful guide, btw~ I always completely missed this part~ xD
