Meet "Mokuri", a shy and curious creature that likes to create things ("Monodukuri" in Japanese). It travels across VR worlds with its mysterious companion "Noi-Noi".

In case you're wondering, yes, Mokuri was designed by Akihito Tsukushi, creator of Made in Abyss (aka the manga/anime from which Nanachi originated)

It's a character designed by the creator of 'Made in Abyss' meant for use in VR/virtual worlds. There's also an English section on the website that describes it:
