Beskrivning
OVERVIEW
This mod fixes the damage of the Incendiary Grenade as it was silently nerfed in War of the Chosen.

The reason for the nerf is that Advent Purifiers use that grenade and it would break the early game if they had access to a 4-5 dmg grenade that burns.

There are already a few mods in the Workshop for this issue, including one I published myself:

With this mod, the damage of the Incendiary Grenade is increased to pre-WOTC levels and a new effect is added to the grenade, lowering its damage to WOTC levels ONLY if the character using the grenade is an Advent Purifier. No additional item is added.

This should fix the issue while ensuring maximum compatibility with other mods.

Doesn't seem to work. Purifiers are toasting my soldiers.

Might I unironically suggest that someone makes a mod that makes it in the early game or in early force levels that purifiers have these puny grenades- maybe even make them a different item? And then in later tiers, it IS the incendiary grenades. That or having it summoned through a dark event?

PSA: This mod does not work. Purifier Grenades are still 4-5 damage
I highly suggest reverting to This previous version and if using other (CX Revamp) Purifier Mods, manually adjusting loadouts in the XComGameData.ini

Purifier Grenade dealt 5 damage explosion + 3 damage burn -> dead soldier...

Hm, a Purifier did 4 damage with an incendiary grenade… Does this not work? It’s a completely normal Purifier! I’m playing with ABA.

might want to find a way make it so the damage penalty is applied to any non-Xcom unit (excluding mind controlled Xcom soldiers because wouldn't make sense for their grenade to suddenly lose damage just because some stupid Sectoid got lucky with their knock-off version of Insanity), for the instances where another modded, non-Purifier enemy may have an incendiary grenade
