This happened to me today - I was harpooning a Narwhal, and I had a Bounty Hunting Brig on me. I was apparently being Reverse-Boarded, yet I was unable to fight or be fought. I could only just sit there, drifting away, yet this Bounty Hunting Brig would tilt to dangerous angles, killing its men and declaring that I successfully defended. When the choices I could make showed up, myself and my Crew were glued to the floor of this sideways Bounty Hunting Brig!
