Ok, just after you blow the canisters, head to the left where the slime river flows and break one of the vents with holes. You just then proceed ahead. After this area it is pretty much straightforward.

The last thing I remember doing is opening the port entrance. Although that was quite a few days ago and I could be remembering incorrectly.

To be honest, the FM3X bundle out in Duke sites made significant updates to this map, improving gameplay and decreasing difficulty. You should try it out. Besides, it works on any source port, but was made exclusively on/for DOS.

As much as I wanted to, I could not complete this map. I got lost for over an hour. Even after putting the game down and trying on another day thinking something would happen. I got pretty far into it though and definitely say its a good map.
